University of Exeter Press is one of only a handful of university presses in the UK. UEP is internationally recognised for its excellence in humanities publishing. Over fifty years dedicated to scholarly book publishing has provided it with a wealth of experience from which to continue to expand and develop its activities.

UEP has strong sales and distribution networks at home and internationally. We are proud to have our titles marketed and distributed throughout the USA and Canada by ISD.

UEP has an outstanding reputation for publishing in the fields of theatre and performance studies and film history. We also have a strong list of South-West studies titles and a substantial backlist in other areas of the humanities.

UEP is branching out into new subject areas. We are particularly interested in the history of cults, witchcraft and medicine, and modern European history. Proposals for Arabic and Islamic studies titles are also encouraged. Projects concerning Asia and China, in particular, are also welcomed.
