Over fifty years dedicated to scholarly book publishing has provided University of Exeter Press with a wealth of experience.  One of only a handful of university presses in the UK, UEP is internationally recognised for its excellence in humanities publishing.

UEP has an outstanding reputation for publishing in the fields of theatre and performance studies and film history with our series, Exeter Performance Studies and Exeter Studies in Film History. We also have a strong list of academic local history in our South-West Studies series and a substantial backlist in other areas of the humanities.

UEP also acts as UK distributor for North American academic presses, currently American Schools of Oriental Research (ASOR), Lockwood Press and Michigan Classical Press.  The Bethsaida Archaeolgical Reports published by Truman State University Press are also available through UEP.
